How to request and print your social security status certificate online?   

 

You can do so now on the National Authority for Social Insurance website in just a few minutes. 

This is an electronic service provided by the country as part of many other services provided by the National Authority for Social Insurance.

If you want an electronic social insurance status printout, you can get it through the National Authority for Social Insurance website.

 

Where can you get a copy of your social insurance status certificate?

 

You can request a copy from any of the national authority for social insurance offices located all over the country. It does not matter whether you are affiliated with this specific office or not or whether you head directly to the main office in each governorate, what’s important is that you must have your birth certificate plus a copy.

Steps to request a copy of your social insurance status

 

Head directly to the nearest social insurance office and submit your birth certificate to the responsible employee.

 

Wait for the employee to make an inquiry about your insurance number after which you will be able to receive the social insurance status printout on the same day. 

 

Just be careful!  You must have a previous insurance number, but in the event that you do not have a previous insurance number, one will be registered in your name, and a printout of your insurance status will be given to you at the same time.

What are the required documents?

 

Original copy of your birth certificate plus a copy. That’s it!

Validity of the social insurance status certificate

 

Most of us believe that the validity of the insurance status document is 3 or 6 months from date of issue. However, the document is valid for one fiscal year which starts in July. So if you request one in June it will only be valid for one month.

 

Requesting a social insurance status certificate if you don’t have an insurance number

 

  • You can easily obtain the insurance status document if you don’t have an insurance number both online or from the nearest social insurance office by adhering to the steps above.

 

  • If you decide to register online National Authority for Social Insurance Non-Registrants website 2023, through which you will be able to enter your data and get an insurance number.

 

Stamped social insurance status document

 

  • If you are going to print the social insurance status document online and wish to stamp it you will have to add two extra steps.
  • Step One: print the document.
  • Step two: head to the nearest social insurance office and get it stamped.
  • If you are retired and want to inquire about your social insurance you can find out on the National Authority for Social Insurance website with your social insurance number.
